The Globe InSight Challenge experience gave me a better and deeper understanding of intelligence analysis in stategic issues. It offered me a set of skills to apply not just on analysis of the migration trend from Africa to Europe till 2035 (the subject of this year challenge) but also on other trends reffering to the new crises of the world. Teamwork, competition spirit, working on tasks under deadline pressure, adjustments based on feedback of the experts, interactive courses and others are ingredients of a great and usefull professional development.

A team of two students from the BA programme in Security Studies(EN) and International Relations and European Studies from the Department of International Studies and Contemporary History participated in the January 2024 edition of the TheInsight Challenge.
Premiering in January 2024 InSight joins as an intelligence challenge to the GLOBE Family. The InSight (Intelligence for Strategic Impact of Global Hot Topics) is a challenge designed for students and young professionals interested in geostrategic matters and intelligence topics. In interdisciplinary and international teams, the participants compete against each other by analyzing current geostrategic issues and real-world trends with the help of Structured Analytic Techniques (SATs).
They gain a deeper knowledge of strategic intelligence and key trends shaping the upcoming years. The InSight Challenge allows its participants to take their methodological competencies, critical thinking as well as analytical skills to the next level while connecting with students from other study programs and universities.
